Introduction |
I am a senior researcher and consultant at the transdisciplinary Institute for Sustainable Futures, at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) specialising in business, corporate and organisational sustainability using systems thinking and processes to address complex organisational and leadership challenges. I also teach systems thinking modules at UTS and in professional organisations to facilitate the adoption of new tools, processes and ways of thinking that are needed for solving sustainability issues especially in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through my work I aim to enable different worldviews within stakeholders that recognise the interdependent nature of complex sustainability challenges.
I have a 25-year background in business management and implementing sustainability in SME businesses. Through my PhD research I also studied Eastern philosophies, happiness and well-being, Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness, business ethics and systems change theories, which contribute to my well-rounded holistic approach to business sustainability issues. |
