OPEN is working with the Global Challenges Foundation to promote their newly launched Educators’ Challenge, which aims to encourage the development of innovative approaches to engage students and broader audiences in discussions on better frameworks of global collaboration. These approaches should provide a basis for continued ideation and discussion on how we can better address the greatest challenges of our time.
Ten prizes of USD 5,000 each will go to the educators who most creatively and effectively progress pedagogy and audience engagement around the pressing issues of improved global cooperation. The Educators’ Challenge runs from 1 November 2017 to 30 June 2018.
Educators of all sorts – teachers in schools and universities, journalists, content creators, PR-professionals, game developers, curators and influencers – all have a vital role to play in steering the conversation and increasing knowledge and positive action.
